Our pet boarding and daycare facility has many distinct features that make for an environment conducive to the well-being of dogs and cats. This includes:
- Spacious boarding suites for both dogs and cats in separate areas
- Three indoor and three outdoor play areas for dogs, with playgroups separated by size and personality
- A cat-only room complete with upstairs/downstairs suites for more active play
- Horizontal suites for cats that may have arthritis or other mobility issues (as opposed to the typical upstairs/downstairs-style suite)*

- Indoor companion kennels that allow for healthy interaction
- Group play sessions for boarding dogs

Does My Dog Need to be Evaluated for Daycare?
To ensure that our dog playgroups get along well, dogs will first need to undergo a behavior assessment. The integration process can take anywhere from 20 minutes to several days—we work hard to find out what is best for every pet and to see how their personality and play style will fit in with the rest of the pack. Making daycare safe and enjoyable for all is our highest priority.
Can I Bring Toys and Bedding for My Dog from Home?
Yes, we encourage you to bring a few of your pet’s personal items for their stay. Our goal is to make your pet feel comfortable while boarding with us, and having something that smells like you, can make them feel like they are at home. We recommend bringing your pet’s food (and medications if needed.) We will gladly provide Purina Chicken & Rice kennel food if you do not supply their food. Please label all of your pet’s belongings with their full name and keep food in sealed baggies or Tupperware. Any medications should be in their original containers with clear instructions.
Maintaining a Healthy Cat and Dog Daycare Environment
All dogs and cats staying at Happy Tails must be vaccinated at least three days before boarding or attending daycare with us. They also need to be up-to-date with their annual parasite testing. All dogs six months or older must be spayed or neutered for daycare or boarding.
